Passionate About Resolving Conflict

Background: Southern Oregon Mediation Center Director, Claudia Beausoleil has been a mediator since 1999, her office is across from the court house in Grants Pass. She has been under contract with the USDA-Forest Service to mediate employees in Oregon since 2004 through 2008. Claudia specializes in Divorce and Family mediation. Claudia has been married 33 years (yes, to the same man) and has lived in Williams Oregon for 40 years. Claudia has worked as a Wildlife Biologist for the U.S. Forest Service for 6 years and for the Bureau of Land Management for 5 years. Claudia has given 25 years of her time as an elected official on the Williams Citizen Advisory Committee, dealing with land use issues. Claudia is willing to travel the state of Oregon or across the seas, to help people resolve their differences. Confidentiality is respected and honored.

Education / Training: Basic Mediation Training with Bridgewaters (Lynne Cox) in Salem. Claudia completed a one year internship, practicing community mediation with Community Dispute Resolution Program of Josephine County, in Grants Pass. Claudia completed a course inYouth and Family Mediation Training, Claudia volunteered with the Talent Middle School teaching Peer Mediation Training to students with Mediation Works of Medford, Claudia continued taking Advanced Mediation Training with Bridgewaters of Salem and special training in Mediating Divorce and Family Agreement with Jim Melamed of the Mediation Center in Eugene. A big thanks goes to the OMA continuing education programs through the Oregon Mediation Association conference workshops since 1999. Court House Facilitation Domestic Relations Mediation 40 hour course - 2009. Restorative Justice training in 2018 and Claudia updated her certification as an "Anger Management" Specialist in 2018.
